I want to create a platform for local pop-up events. So the main idea is to connect local pop-up event hosts and people who want to experience unique local events. It will include many of the basic functions as provided on [login to view URL] Main event categories will be: Street Photography, Party, Music, Pop-up Wine and Dine, Workshop, Street Photography, Unique Tours. The goal is also to connect people with each other through these events, so e.g. people who travel or want to get to know new people through events.
The layout should be organized similar to [login to view URL]
Revenue will be generated by taking a transaction fee for every event booking.
Some of the pages to be provided:
-index page with search bar (which city, category of event, date) and images of events
-event page such as [login to view URL] giving information about the event
-host profile page presenting the host as [login to view URL]
-"become a host" page, log-in with facebook, etc., payment function included (paypal, major credit cards)
-booking confirmation page, email confirmation, ability to share on social media and invite others through facebook
-after booking: event page includes people who are attending
-blog page: the idea is to create a "blog" page like [login to view URL] giving personal portraits about the hosts and business owners. This is thought of being a traffic driver. It could look similar to [login to view URL]
Just to give some information about the project outline: I am planning to launch this platform within the next 2-3 months in Berlin. After creating initial traffic, I am planning to leverage on that and launch it to other major European cities also in combination with a local-based app further down the road.
