Please review the detailed requirements and resubmit bids and timeframe. Estimate a schedule as follows: 0% Bid Award and Scope of work outlined 15%: SOW of finalized and website architecture finalized 30% Inventory system finalized and draft sales system developed (front end and back end) 60 % Sales system complete and deployed for functional testing (Inventory/Sales+ History) 90 % Live deployment and testing 100% Final bugs worked out and system goes live. Please break out your costs according to the above milestones, and please feel free to suggest alternatives. Additional clarification for the system is as follows. 1. At this point the POS system is being setup as a demo and the System is not required to be a custom built from-the-ground up system. Simply need the Asset management system to be modified with some additional fields, possibly a couple more options to add pictures, and some other minor items. Consider this a proof-of-concept and the first step towards a full POS system deployment. 2. No credit card transactions will happen on this system. Will simply use this to capture customers signatures, and print their receipts as well as track inventory status. 3. Estimate no more than 10 simultaneous users 4. Current vision is a simple dashboard interface with the following a. Inventory b. Sales c. Trade d. Historical Records Key System Features Inventory Tracking 1. Load inventory of items into iPad. a. Description of Item b. Various attributes of item (weight, color, type, source, cost, sales price, etc) c. 3-4 pictures of items d. Generate barcode of item to be used to scan when item is being sold e. Track complete history of all inventory 2. Sales System a. Scan barcode to pull up item attributes (from above) b. Enter final sale price c. Capture customer information and signature d. Print receipt with picture of items and signature e. Email/PDF final receipt 3. Historical Records a. Access historical records 4. Trade items a. Occasionally customers want to trade items. Similar to 2. Sales System, a second tab to capture the items been traded and its assigned value 5. Security a. Must have password control on each of the key features above. Only authorized people for inventory/sales/trade/admin functions b. Signatures, pictures, etc must get locked down once submitted c. Information must be stored on a server, not on the iPad (in case the iPad gets stolen from the store) d. Data is extremely sensitive and its integrity and security must be maintained. e. System is envisioned to off WiFi, with the server in the back office 6. Future features (not to be included in this bid, but to think about) a. Complete POS system with credit card transactions, etc. b. Multi-user/multi client deployment for multiple shops

Hi, this project seems straight forward if you were to use FileMaker Go (v12 or v13) for the iPad user entry along with FileMaker Server for the back office application. Any administration could be done with FileMaker Pro - I'd need a few more details to get started of course but I'm available straight away.
