Hello I worked in ANSYS last year during my last year of university. What I did is a linear and non linear analysis of a webbed plate. I was looking for yield stress, buckling modes and I was looking an non linear behavior with approximating a bi-linear curve for steel. The process was the following: *I modeled the plate in Autodesk Inventor *Inserted the model into ANSYS workbench *turned the plate and the webs into shell elements *performed analysis The mesh behaved well and there were no gaps. I haven't used APDL commands and parametric modelling. However I am a quick with modelling in 3d, and I can make those models work in workbench, as from my experience workbench wasn't the best platform for making a 3d model. Please provide some more information on the subject so I can assess the project more accurately. Sincerely Alex
