I need to build a prototype Transmitter that utilizes a simple remote control doorbell transmitter circuit (such as Harbor Freight Tools, transmitter & receiver, Retails for $8) This transmitter has about 8 components and the board is 1.75" x 1.25" and currently is using a lot of real estate space. I need a similar simple transmitter circuit to fit inside of a plastic round "cap" space that is .500" inside diameter by .350" deep with lid and battery. This is going to be triggering the receiver for a few seconds / once a day. Switch mounted on inside of cap mounted facing through outside cap wall (3d printed cap with integrated switch holder already made, can be modified if needed) Transmitter range is about 4 - 6 feet. Unit must be self-contained with no external connections. Note: Inside cap size is slightly flexible. Please "Bid This Project" Can possibly utilize electrical components / circuit similar to Harbor Freight Tools, Remote Control Door Bell Ringer Retails for $8 Need compact battery to fit inside unit, such as a 3vdc Lithium battery (example ECR1216 Button Battery) maybe stack them to raise voltage? Hi. I am Pranav. I just read through your project description in detail. (Thanks for mentioning all the relevant details in the description, many people overlook it). My first question to you would be if it is absolutely necessary to use the doorbell circuit. The same can be made with Wifi or BLE as well, or at sub-ghz proprietary RF. If you could tell me what the receiving side device would be like, I could help you in selecting the most profitable technology for you, and make a circuit design and PCB for the same. I can also help you with prototypes through my contacts in China. There are a lot of possibilities that are coming into my mind regarding this project, but obviously I need to know the entire system to suggest the right option. You can share the details under an NDA if required. As for me, I am an electronics hardware designer nd have actively worked on several projects consisting of various wireless technologies. These include BLE, WiFi and sub GHz RF. I have also worked on power control devices and high power electronics, along with many other general projects. Hi! I have fairly good experience with embedded systems and have designed several devices that make full fledged use of digital and analog electronics. I also have hands on experience with system on chips (SoC) that can cut down the project development time many by folds and also ensure the best in class signal integrity and low BOM. I have recently worked on a compact signal transmission device that was used to transmit data from an overhead water tank to indoor control unit. I shall be able to fit you design in a 12mmx12mm area and 7mm depth. The approximate manufacturing price should be $4 if manufactured in volume. (250 units or more). My bid is for the complete hardware and firmware design along with 5 working samples. Since sampling requires manufacturing the PCBs and assembling the components, there is an inevitable lead time of approximately 10 to 15 days.
