This requirement is for a simple Delphi XE2 or XE8 project that allows a Google Chrome user to easily save the text of a Web Page as a Text file using as few mouse clicks as possible. The text should not contain any HTML, scripts or code. The source code must be provided to me for maintenance. Installation and user instructions must be provided.
I have experience working with embedded browsers and ChromiumEmbedded works best of all.
I presume the Delphi application will embed chromium thus providing the whole control over the activities. So a little user configuration/action pane will be present to hold the user preferences regarding the directory to hold the saved text, the name of the file for the data saved, as well as a button to initiate he Save-to-text procedure. A pure javascript extension is cheeper.
