ArcGIS / MapInfo Shape files created

I require a shape file to be produced based on a file that provides postcode areas for the UK. The Shape file needs to be in a format that can be imported into ESRI (such as ArcGIS). The Shape file will also include layers that will be produced for Population, Socio-demographics and household income. The data for these layers will be provided in excel format and is attached to a Postcode Sector which will need to be mapped to the UK postcode file.
