Artificial Rock CLimbing - Structural Engineer

We are a start-up dynamic company who are into sport climbing training on artificial climbing walls(ACW). We have our own build and operate model. Artificial Climbing refer to the use of any fixed or movable artificial climbing structure for the purpose of: bouldering, sport climbing and wall climbing. The wall is manufactured from a steel frame that is bolted together and fiberglass/Ply panels with molded contour and artificial [login to view URL] are tyipicall of 30-40 feet, 8-16 ft wide straight up. Generally installed in support of existing pillars or beams of on existing building or even on a plain ground. Am looking for Structural Engineers for Design and inspect ACW in a part time free lance role. 1) Must be qualified/certified structural engineer or equivalent 2) Should be interested new area of working the design, engineering, manufacturing, or installation of Artificial Climbing Structures Determine installation method Suggest safety requirements and test methods with protection points Generate design wire frame drawings and/or 3D renderings Client approval of final designs & production authorization Prepare engineering calculations package and fabrication drawings Engineering calculations package for review Construction drawings Design and fabrication drawings to production department Conduct walk through with client for final approval Able to understand perform in guidance with CWA or EN 12572 standards for Artificial Climbing Wall 3) Able to inspect existing artificial climbing wall Area of inspection expertise should include New Welded, bolted and other connections at: - Primary support structure - Secondary support structure - Anchors - Climbing surface 4) Able to certify Artificial Climbing Wall as per specifications and Standards defined 5) Quick turn around time 6) Fast response and RELIABLE in answering back TIMELY. and and Interest in Adventure Sport :) Expect 25+ short asssignments per year
