I have a C++ software compiled in Visual Studio to EXE. When user downloads this exe, a security warning is displayed on user's computer with message "The Publisher Could Not Be Verified" and user is prompted each time to confirm execution of the program.
I need a C++ code, which I will add to my software, in order to remove the flag so next time user runs it, it no longer prompts that message.
Currently it is possible to edit :[login to view URL] on the file in order to set the flag.
For example, if the downloaded file is [login to view URL], one can use
C:\> [login to view URL] [login to view URL]:[login to view URL]
And it opens the zone identifier as a file and it is possible to manually set the contents to:
[ZoneTransfer]
ZoneId=0
So I need a C++ code which does the following:
1) find out the full path to currently executed exe file (self)
2) appends ":[login to view URL]" to the filename and opens the zone identifier file for writing
3) write contents to it (see above)
4) close the zone identifier file
This way, the exe compiled will prompt only once after download, then it won't prompt anymore. This is very trivial project so I'm expecting instant delivery time. Thank you for your bids.
*EDIT: I have the code, single function, tested.
