Compile a C++ program in Linux CentOS 6.8 – resolve all dependencies

I need to compile the latest version of FileZilla client to make it run in x86_64 CentOS 6.8 box, with a jailshelled OS. This means I can’t compile or make there nor add bins or libs to the system folders. I do have limited access to some tools such as gdb. I need a bin to be copied in a regular user folder, and be able to run from it. All needed references libraries need to be included in the bin or should be copied and referenced from a user folder. The goal is to use FileZilla in the CentOS server as a client with a FTPS protocol, and be able to call it from PHP code as system calls. Work outline: (a) Get the latest FileZilla source code (b) Download and install Oracle VirtualBox 5.1 (c) Download Linux CentOS 6.8 (86_64) (d) Install the CentOS as a guest OS. Tip: Install as an 86_64 RedHat-base OS, needs 1Gb RAM + 8 GB HD. (e) Complete the installation with some tools you will needed (yum, ftp, etc) (f) Download and install FileZilla dependencies (please check FileZilla documentation) (g) Compile Filezilla, resolve dependencies issues as needed (this is the “actual” work) (h) Prepare a make file to execute the compilation easily (i) Generate a bin file that can be executed alone, or with libraries that can be copied and used (have in mind they will be used in a jailshell environment) (j) Compose a short document explaining how to install all (k) Generate a snapshot of the CentOS machine and upload it to a server to be provided Deliverables: (1) Bin + libs + make + installation doc (2) CentOS snapshot with all the work done Notes: *1 The FileZilla bin is expected to work as a command line only. No user interface needed. *2 Step (k) / deliverable (2) are needed to review the work and ensure no unwanted code is included – You know what I mean.
