I have 3+ years experience working in Computer Vision projects using OpenCV, Python and deep learning algorithms. And overall 5+ years experience in ML and data science.

1. ANPR - automated number plate recognition from a video feed taken from a parking lot and drive paths
2. Traffic counting - from a video feed of a busy highway. The project involved identifying the type of automobile along with the count of each vehicle type (car, truck, motorbike), the following distance, and speed
3. Classifying medical images using TensorFlow, Matlab and OpenCV. E.g., classifying the tumour as benign or malignant from lung CT scans (DICOMs)
4. Gender and age identification from a Kiosk video feed using Caffe and OpenCV

The proposal is for building a backend code base that takes the video input of a road and identifies the vehicle number and outputs a CSV. The application can be run from a command prompt. We can build more things on top (a web interface, scale it to process multiple feeds etc.) for more fee.
