Dear Sir, I'm an electronic engineering undergraduate and I have good experience in programming arduino and also Android applications. I'm interested in your project as I have done much similar thing with arduino nano and built and andorid app to wake up the tablet from sleep, according to the sensor reading. It was a non-rooted app so I guess that will suit to your requirement. The android app connects to the arduino via USB OTG cable and app can read the dara from arduino. So I believe I can deliver this project successfully and I'm confident on it. I can test the program with my devices(Android and arduino) Looking forward to here from you. Thank you Anusha

Hi, I'm based in Singapore. I think it's better to just used BLE modules(nrf51822\422, cc240\41), it can connect to android\iphone wirelessly and can run in the background and there is no need to root the phone. Depending on the type of your tablet some can't act as usb host, thus you can't connect arduino to it. For further discussion please let me know. Thanks, Clint
