Thanks! I have worked with ARM controllers like STM32F4 & TM4C123G. I have excellency in TM4C123G. Suggestion: You can use wifi or bluetooth module on behalf of GSM module. You can make a mobile app from this one can send message to Led matrix. Is there any specific reason to use ARM?

Thanks So you need a system that can display the content of the SMS it received for mobile phone on a LCD matrix board. Arduino DUE is an ARM based board. We can use that board to reduce the hardware complexity and to finish coding in a short period of time. There are a so many gsm modules available. I would suggest you to buy a shield rather than module to make the hardware simple. We can choose best one. I hope you have some matrix in your mind. Please share it so we can get a clear picture.
