My job experience has taken me through myriad occupations throughout my life, but writing has always been a center point of success for me. I have a gift for conveying ideas quickly and easily, and making the reader excited to learn more. I am a stickler for grammar, punctuation, accuracy, clarity and economy of words. And although I have a very technical mind, I have a knack for conveying highly technical ideas and making them easily understood by the layperson. Oh, and I use politically correct terms like "layperson".
I have written everything from technical manuals to comedy routines. In every job I have ever had, I have always been the go-to person for proof-reading, editing, spelling or finding that "just right" way to turn an abstract idea into an understandable and actionable project.
While I don't have direct professional experience with hospice or palliative care, I did take care of my Father in the end of his life, so I have some first hand experience. I also have a trusted friend who owns a successful in-home care facility in Oregon, and he could prove to be an invaluable resource for me in understanding procedures, terminology, staffing issues etc. I also happen to be a quick study.
I would love the opportunity to prove myself to you; You will not be disappointed.
