Design in Flash

The project is an in-depth study of creating a digital storyboard, using appropriate storyboard software to create the whole project. You are required to produce a script, start, middle and end, select characters, emotions and motion, and use appropriate software to create a digital storyboard. The animation should be produced either with Adobe Flash or Toon Boom. All source Files are required. Task 1 Produce a report on the topic, you have selected and who the target audience. Produce a timescale on the way you will approach your project. The report should include the following:- Title Director/ animator names Voice Actors Plot Summary Year is to be made Task 2 Research other stories, movies, cartoons in the similar field and gather ideas. List the resources and explain briefly what you liked or disliked in each of them. Task 3 Draw your story on a piece of paper with all your ideas included such as, rule of third, Line of actions, gestures, poses, depth and perspective, timing of each scene. Task 4 Create your first draft of the completed story, as a digital storyboard. Task 5 Produce a questionnaire, with questions about your story. Provide the digital story to your peers, faculty or someone relevant to the target audience you have selected. Task 6 Make the changes to the story based on the results of the questionnaire and any editing that you require. For each scene, clearly state the changes made. Task 7 (AT4) Promote your story, by presenting your work using an innovative way. (No Boring powerpoint presentation). Clearly, explain what steps and the software you used to create the story.
