Your job is very interesting, but give students negative impact. It seems to me that the demand would be greater. I want to know what is the database in order to do this job. And in proposal, you said that you make the photo with your phone about as formula such IUPAC name: "2,2,3-trimethylbutan-1-ol". So the app must recognize the OCR letters and send the result to server(your computer) and receive the structure of the compound as image form. I have developed the OCR project also.
