Hello, I have performed exactly the same autoscaling project for a sweden newspaper company that needs auto-scale wowza streaming instances. When the number of clients accessing a wowza instance reaches a pre-defined/configurable amount, my php script is starting a new instance and then adding it to the available pool (via wowza streaming configuration that i pass during instance boot). when the number of clients decrease to a number, the same script is shutting down the instance by sending a wowza redirect before so users will not notice they have changed their streaming instance. Similarly i can code in php using AWS EC2 API tools to perform a logic control for your server too. all we need is a control server that php codes will run on (can be the same server as current master server). Meanwhile im an expert level linux system administrator with over 12 years of experiences. Kindly check my previous projects / ratings.
