Aviation Science of Multi-Crew Flight Operations

Write an in-depth essay on the physical, psychological and social environment of aircraft on long haul and ultra long haul operations and the effects on the crew The essay should be researched using peer-reviewed journals and taking into consideration all those aspects of paraphrasing, keeping to the question and peer review journals. Step 1 (in class-time): Research your subject using the library tag on ADU website for accessing journal articles, Googlescholar, SKYbrary, newspapers, personal conversations with flight crew. Gather all this research together and decide which ones are the most relevant. Step 2 (in class-time): Write the outline of your essay using this format: Abstract (100 words) This is usually written at the end when you have finished your essay Introduction (150 words) Body of work Physical (650 words) Psychological (650 words) Social (650 words) Conclusion (250 words) References Step 3 (in the next 3 weeks) Write the essay using the correct format as detailed above and using correct referencing. You need at least 6 references of which half must be peer reviewed journals. Remember in each area of your essay you need to include benefits and vulnerabilities of each aspect of the long haul environment. Step 4 (by the 18th June) Hand your essay into Owais before the 18th June. Failure to hand it in on time will result in 0.5 of a mark per day late. You have 3 essays due in Week 14 so you need to plan your time accordingly. Remember exams start on June 28th so there is little time to extend any essays as marks have to be in before the exams begin.
