Magento Add-on customization implementing zoom feature

We are going to get an Magento Add-on, which allows us to customize products through "Advanced Custom Options".
The Add-on is called "Custom Options Pro" or another one is "Advanced Product Options".
Both of those Add-ons are lacking one feature related to product options thumbnail images.
They do not allow/show zoom in or open bigger image when hoovering over it.
Both programs are open-source so you have access to the code.
This is what we need to get implemented.
