JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for going door-to-door with a Mentor and informing clients of services available and the advantages of transferring their account. Employee will also explain the process involved and assist with the clients' smooth transfer from one provider to another.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend daily motivational and practical training before going out to the designated territory.

Travel to different neighborhoods and suburbs in teams and go door-to-door sharing the opportunity to switch to cleaner, cheaper energy.

Explains how customer can benefit from the alternative service.

Demonstrate using facts and figures the advantages of the service.

Convince client to switch Energy company by using a script and learned training techniques.

Show examples of how bills are positively affected by a switch.

Hand out the Energy company's rules and regulations.

Write up orders for the switch.

Travel by carpools to designated area to share services.

Take brief notes on every household visited.

Check on customers who are in the position to take advantage of the opportunity.

Develop strong, positive amicable working relationships with members of the team.

Work in a designated area for at least 7 hours with a break during the day.

Win back or upgrade current or former customers.

Tell customers why service is better than theirs.

Ensure customer is made aware of benefits connected to a switch.
