Treeview

I would like to have a TreeView created in VB.NET that displays information from an XML file. The content of the XML file would typically be folder/file information.

Here are the requirements.....

1, It must be written in VB.Net

2, It must be populated from an xml file. The file format would include;

FullyQualifiedPath

Size

CreatedDateTime

ModifiedDateTime

AccessedDateTime

Attributes

3, The FileName and path displayed in the TreeView should display the appropriate application icon.

4, When a filename in the TreeView is clicked the following should occur...

A function is called. This must be of my choosing. For now just display a the Fully Qualified path of the file to show where I should place my code.

5, The TreeView should read in the selected folder information when clicked as opposed to reading in the entire file upfront.

6, When you click on a folder to expand it loads at that time the matching subfolders and files.

7, As you expand other subfolders the same thing happens. So the selecting of a folder triggers a lookup for related object in the xml.

8, When you select a folder in the Left pane display all files for that folder in the right pane including, Size, Accessed, Modified, Created, and Attributes.

9, I should be able to sort by Folders, FileName, Size, Accessed, Modified, Created, and Attributes.

10, I also require a Find option to locate a specific file or folder by name, size, accessed, modified, created, or attribute.

11, I require a browse button to search for the xml file to be used for populating the treeview.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
