Translation German to French, OSCommerce shop

We have a running OSCommerce shop in german language (have a look at [login to view URL]). Since we are a country with more than one native languages, we want to translate the whole shop to french. So the user can choose between languages.
Project includes following tasks:
- translate complete shop system (infopages, checkout pages, buttons etc)
- translate all products, descriptions and categories (1600 Products at this time)
- implement to OSCommerce Shop, ready and fully working as an all in one finished project.
no, google translating or similar. only good quality translation, also within the sometimes technical descriptions. Copy some descriptions or partial text from other pages with SAME products is ok if its not too visible..
I do not know how to do it the best way. Like exporting all products out of the database in a text editor and then back in, or do it directly in the admin-system of the shop. But i can helping out with everything and support some tasks. It can be a cooperation if needed.
