This site is intended to be a free use site, supported by advertising. It will have a few key features that are not particularly complicated.
Users are able to sign up for the website, which will be manually activated on an administrative area. A few PDF documents will need to be uploaded and be available for review by the administrator.
Once users are approved they are able to (based on what type of account they have signed up for) post transport trucks that are available for hire, post delivery loads that need to be shipped or both.
Users who have posted this information should have a options to change information about their loads and trucks.
All though the site is free users should have to log in to use these features. Basic security practices should be used (like checking input for potentially bad data that could lead to SQL query injection attacks)
Users will be allowed to search for loads that need to be delivered based on starting city and state, ending city and state, and a radius of 500 miles from each city and state, as well as a few other options.
There are a few other features that are needed by they are relativly minor.
I am looking for this to be written in PhP, using MySQL.
## Deliverables
Attached is a word doc outlining the details of the site. Not all of these components need to be completed by the developer as I can work on some of them. I have all the required information defined from the client and signed off on so this portion is also completed.
I can provide in word docs or PDF format the required and optional fields for each of the pages that the user is required to enter information on. Also I have the SQL scripts written for the database so depending on pricing that could be used. If desired you can include a quote for creating your own database if you feel that is appropriate.
