Executive summary?

At the moment users can enter content into the site, this is not what I want as we will not be hosting out own content.?

Users will be able to register on this site. Once registered they will be able to choose from a list of ALL social networking sites which content they want to appear in their 'blocs', frequency and preference to a particular type of content.

Each bloc will be filled with content from a different social networking site. In effect, each time a registered user posts a new piece of content on any one the social networking sites they have registered with the site, that content will appear in a new bloc. (top left new blocs will appear and move left to right until the older ones go off screen)

Users will be able to friend other users to be able to see their content.

Users will be able to search via registered user name, real name to find the specific user and friend them. A user is not inclined to friend another user back. A user will only be able to see content from another user if they friend them. Users who are sent friend requests will have to accept the friend request for the other user to be able to view their content.?

Users will be able to comment on each bloc that appears. The most recent comment will be shown underneath the bloc. A link will provide the full list of comments in new window.?

Users will be able to thumb up or thumb down each bloc as well.?

The top 10 thumb up and thumb down blocs will appear on the home page.

We will not supply any content of our own, each piece of content will be pulled down from X social networking site.?

Blocs will be clickable to open in new window to see original content source file.?

I would prefer login with non-password auth methods such as oAuth for Twitter?

Each Bloc will have a tiny icon of the content source (Twitter, Facebook etc) in the bottom right hand corner of the bloc. (similar to a peeling label) to show where the content came from.?

User profiles?

Users register their full name and email. There full name will be their username.?

Users must confirm their email addresses.

Users will be able to register with oAuth, Facebook and Open Id to instantly register.?

For this beta version I would like at least the social networks listed on [url removed, login to view]

Admin area ?

Delete users

Add users?

Change user details?

I will NOT accept 1 man bands, users with less than 7 rating or unrealistic bids.?

Hi, I'm very disappointed with the type of coders who have bid on this project. Over 90% have a 0 rating. It is very important to understand these points if you have a 0 rating. 1. You have nothing to lose on RAC. A member with over 70 positive feedbacks has taken years to build their profile on RAC and would not be able to afford to lose their account. Starting again from 0 would not be viable. 2. If you are a 0 rated coder and what to take this job seriously, you MUST take a hit on price. I will NOT pay anything like full price to a 0 rated coder because there is a 50% chance (or more) that you will default, even if you say you will not at the beginning. For example, if your cost price is $1000, you must accept $1000 as final price to reduce risk for me, and get yourself a positive rating. (as rating is more important at this stage.) I am going to choose the winning bidder and start on Thursday, so if you want to be in it to win it, you must reply and have agreed terms by then. I will not be making any Skype calls, too much hassle. Keep the conversation on RAC so nothing can be manipulated. Regards
