Modify Yahoo Answers Clone Category Structure and Generate Sitemap

Modify our Qna website to use different Categories and generate a sitemap file.

We need someone to change the way categories are displayed on our questions and answers website. You will need to do the following:

1. Modify our current category routine to generate a sitemap. This is mostly costmetic changes.

2. Modify our yahoo answers feed code to track categories of answers being imported.

3. Use those categories to along with the title and description to classify new questions coming in. (I have written out exact technical details on how to do this).

4. Generate a new category list for left hand column of website using the categories retrieved from yahoo answers.

5. We have a simple caching routine built, you will need to have the generated category lists saved to this cache. (it only has 3 functions save,load, and erase) You will also need to have our current category lists saved to this cache routine.

6. the new sitemap will need to be saved to cache as well.

We have more detailed technical instructions and example websites for you to view if you require more information.

We also have a dedicated server with hosting space for you to work on this project. It will be done in a test environment so there is no worry of breaking an actual production site.

## Deliverables

please note you will be working on a test server and test installation of the script and database.

we will handle moving your code to our production servers ourselves after verifying your code in the test environment.
