spamassassin perl integration module

We currently use spamassassin on our mailservers to do the bulk of the processing. We also have other systems that I want to plug into spamassassin someway. The plan is to build a simple perl module/script that can be accessed from a webpage that will accept the html or text content of an email and run it through spamassassin using the builtin features. The system should return an array or similiar containing any hits that it has received from spamassassin and pass them back as the html output, preferably as XML. The intention is to use this as a webservice that takes a HTMLencoding xml file as input and passes back an XML file that contains the hits given for the content

The system will be accessed from a .net application and will use the htmlencode function built into this to encode the content and send over the formatted XML.

We require detailed installation and configuration documents.

The system can run on linux or windows, although Linux is preffered.

The webserver will be configured to run perl scripts in the standard manner.

This system will be completely independant of the main system and will run from its own configuration, which will most likely stay default. The script/module needs to be able to accept html encoded and decode before processing.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
