We look after an existing and live website that needs to render properly on non-desktop browsers (ie tablets and mobiles).
We are therefore looking for a company or individual to take the existing design and recode the markup and CSS to ensure that it displays optimally. There is no requirement to redesign the current layout or logo.
The website is a photographic website which uses a JavaScript plugin to display images both on the home page and on the gallery page. This code needs to be looked at to ensure it is optimised for mobile devices, particularly with reference to bandwidth and memory limitations (Some older mobiles are reportedly crashing when trying to download the images). Other than that, all other pages (of which there are currently 8) have the same layout and style without any additional plugins.
The content of the site is driven by a PHP and MySQL content management system. This should not need to be touched as part of this work but we are happy to give full support and advice to help integrate your HTML5/CSS responsive solution with it. The admin area does not need to be touched.
As this is an urgent requirement we are looking for responses from people that are available to start of this project immediately.
