VB.NET to connect to Access Workgroup

Hi, I need a small VB.NET Windows application that can connect to and extract records from an Access database. This database is Access 97 that uses a workgroup and resides on a local server. I need the application to connect (and authenticate) to the workgroup and maybe display some records on the form. The cosmetics are not important. My primary objective is to get the code to connect to the database that uses a workgroup. Please contact me for any additional information that you think may be needed in order to complete this project.
