Setup an already made bot

I want to run a Dota 2 Inhouse League on Discord and there is a Github project for doing exactly that: [login to view URL]
My problem is that it's not very well documented and I don't know enough about Node.js to understand how to set this up. I know it works and it's being used by various leagues.
All I need is to have this set up on a server like Digital Ocean, Google Cloud, Heroku or similar so that it connects to my Discord server and does what it's supposed to do.
the bot needs to also connect to Dota 2. All the code for that is already written but there are some variables that need to be set and I don't know how to do it.
For example, on lines 234-239 of /lib/[login to view URL] it says
[login to view URL] = {
account_name: config.steam_name,
password: config.steam_pass,
I don't know how it's done but I need it set up so that it connects to Steam accounts for hosting the games. This is used to create the lobbies for the inhouse games.
In short, the bot needs to be functional by connecting to Discord and Dota 2. The code for this is already written.
