Help printing QR code using PCL commands on thermal printer

I have an application on Appcelerator Titanium using javascript.
I have a Apex2 printer from Datamax-Oneil.
I am using attached documentation to print a receipt.
It is working fine the text and other PCL commands, but the QR is not been printed, just small vertical lines instead of the QR.
I need help making a function in javascript that receive as parameter a string (alphanumeric). This function should print the string received as QR as information encoded.
I will use this function as sample inside my project.
