We are looking for an experienced developer to create a custom web browser based on the Chrome engine. This browser will have specific functionalities tailored to our needs and strict security measures to ensure a controlled environment.
Key Features:
1. Cross-Platform Compatibility: The browser should work seamlessly on both Windows and Mac operating systems.
2. Whitelist Access: The browser will be limited to accessing websites that are listed in a dynamically updated whitelist. The whitelist will be fetched via a URL using a curl command ([login to view URL]).
3. Cookie Retrieval: When accessing a website from the whitelist, the browser should automatically make a request to retrieve a cookie from a specific URL ([login to view URL]). This cookie will be used to grant access to the website.
4. Simplified UI: The browser should not have a navigation bar. Instead, it will always open a predefined page ([login to view URL]) upon startup. This page will contain buttons that lead to the desired links.
5. Security Measures: The browser must be locked down to prevent users from installing extensions or accessing browser settings. These capabilities should be completely disabled.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in web browser development and experience with the Chrome engine.
