The description below states the complete project. I WILL ACCEPT even if only certain things are achieved in the project, for example, being able to get a video call between client and server using a library(API) which allows video calling using either RTSP or RTMP.
The video call can be from my android phone(Client) to VLC (server).
Proposal title:
Designing an Android application which measures and compares energy consumption of video call using different mobile interfaces.
This project consists of designing an Android application, which allows video calls using 2 mobile interfaces, WiFi and LTE .
Using these 2 mobile interfaces compare the energy consumption, Energy VS Quality, to test which interface uses the least energy and has the best quality video call in terms of processing speed, frames per second and fixed resolution.
Deliverable :
The application will use one mobile interface at a time. It will make a video call of a fixed resolution, and measure its quality. Then measure the energy consumed in that one particular video call. Record the results.
