Add particle candy system to Game in Basic(repost)

I would like to have a particle system added into my game to enable firework effects, I have a particle engine ( particle candy ) that is built to work with blitz3d ( the language the game is written in blitz3d is a basic based engine ) and would

like to use this in my game, everything works ( the emitter shows the sounds play ) but no particles are shown. I have contacted the creator of particle candy and go this in response.

The proper way to use Particle Candy is to

- Create emitters once you level starts

- Create particle types, attach them to emitters

This is donce once on level start.

Then, within your game you can

- Place an emitter anywhere

- Fire it

at any time.

- Don't forget to place UpdateParticles() within your main loop, otherwise you wouldn't see any particle stuff.

When finished, all emitters should be removed again.

If you particles don't show up, you should check the emitter position, for example. If the emitter is not in view, the particles won't either. Also ensure that you properly attached the particle type to the emitter (correct emission rate etc.) and that you passed the camera handle to Particle Candy. Particle Candy needs to know your main camera.

now I pretty sure the problem is where to place the UpdateParticles()

and therefore this project is just that to discover and place the UpdateParticles() in the correct place to make the particles show.
