ARCHITECT – OpenSource

Pre-Requisites

Education : BE ([login to view URL] or Electronics or IT) / MCA

Experience: Min. 8 yrs Max. 12 yrs

Summary:

Work on a cutting edge cloud based web application on a SaaS model with focus around building a top-notch product for helping businesses achieve a work-flow based fully-automated functioning of their travel & expense management division.

Primary Skills:

a) Should have independently engineered projects with complex architectural designs in the last 2 to 3 years.

b) Good knowledge of deploying solutions on a cloud platform.

a) Good hands-on understanding of industry trends in OpenSource Tech. stack and best-fit frameworks available for designing products focused around travel & expense management.

b) Good understanding of Open source licenses & its implications for a commercially oriented product development (like Apache, BSD, GNU license agreements etc.).

c) Exposure to Activity planning, scheduling & allocation.

d) Requires solid knowledge of designing & development using OpenSource technologies.

Secondary Skills:

a) Good presentation skills.

b) Well aware of SDLC processes in a product development environment.

c) Exposure to travel industry.

Soft / Behavioural Skills:

a) Leadership skills and a good motivator.

b) Good verbal & written communication skills.

c) Committed to project scope but flexible enough to adapt to changing product lifecycle needs.

Special Requirements:

a) None at this point in time but can come up during the lifecycle of the project.

Responsibilities:

a) Be the point of contact for the product architecture & finalized open source technology stack.

b) Be able to adapt to an Agile Methodology of product development lifecycle given the nature of the product.

c) Ability to come up with "out of box" solutions.

d) Should design the wiring diagram and an e-2-e data model for the product.

e) Ability to lead the team and guide them at each step for any technical challenges along the way.
