need to design a bluetooth 4.0 iBeacon that can be turned on for 2 minutes and then turned off by electrical signal. i want the beacon to begin transmitting when a soap dispenser dispenses soap and then continue transmitting for 2 minutes and then go into sleep mode.
the device/beacon will then be wired into the dispenser and activated by the dispenser. The beacon can attached to the side of the dispenser. it would seem easiest to modify a currently available beacon for this purpose.
