<Technology Description>
This technology is used to manage the number of products stored in storage areas. When measuring the number of products by the weight of the storage area, if foreign substances other than the target product are mixed into the storage area, there is a possibility of false positives that the number of products has increased. To solve this problem, the technology determines whether the increase or decrease in the weight of the storage area is due to an increase or decrease in the number of products in question, depending on whether the increase or decrease in the weight of the storage area is a multiple of the weight per item of the product. For example, if the weight of the target product is 100 g, and the weight of the storage area increases by 200 g, the number of eligible products stored in the storage area is judged to have increased by 2 pieces.
