XML-based Configuration Editor 2

I need a typical configuration editor based on a TreeView and a parameter area. The whole configuration is stored in an XML-File. The structure of the TreeView is partly defined by some other XML-Files and partly configured by the user. We need a multi-select TreeView in order to do group changes of selected entries. The editor should be able to load and save the configuration.

The goal is to configure a “multiple digital output hardware system” with up to 1000 outputs. Each output may have specific values of its parameters. The outputs are grouped on boards and the boards in racks. This is the given physical representation of the system which is visible in the TreeView. The user can configure a logical view of this system by selecting all outputs of a rack or board or single outputs and then sorting, naming and parameterizing them. Name and type of the parameters for the outputs, boards and racks are defined in XML-templates.

I like to have a C# software using WPF including an installer, if needed. And I need to have the whole project and source-code for further development.
