Specification and features:
You will deliver a Document Library event handler and instructions for installing/configuring it. The event handler will:
1) add the SharePoint generated version number to the office document as a custom property
2) The version number will be automatically added to the header or footer of any office document placed in the document library under SharePoint
3) a Document Library event handler. This would add the functionality to the Document Library itself and would require no installation on client computers. Basically, the Document Library itself would automatically add the version number to the document properties. Adding the version number to the header/footer would then be as easy as adding the date, page number, etc.
Please make me a description of your solution, don't send me web links with projects you did. You must know SharePoint technologies and specially document event handlers under SharePoint.
This is the first project and it will be a long term contract with additions request with sharepoint and webparts.
