Find an install a WordPress plugin to help with user registration

Looking for simple plugin selection, installation, and setup.
I have a client site that needs to allow people to register for one of two categories, let's say Team A and Team B. Once their info is filled out, they'll be redirected to a link for payment. I have the link already.
Would like for the plugin to have the ability for people to manage their contact info.
Need you to find, install, and set-up the plugin with a few additonal form fields I'll provided. Should be very simple. I'd love to find a free plugin to do this. I know there are many out there, but I don't know them well enough to know which one is best.
I'll provide the URL of a sample form to those who reply with "membership" in their responses. It will help explain what I'm doing.
