Create an Animation

I need an animated character created to personify our Hawaiian Exploring Group, the "Ridge Ninjas". You can visit our Facebook Page for inspiration (note the little blue ninja dude): [login to view URL]

This character is to be used in a 3-5 second long animated intro that we will precede our YouTube videos (a "branded intro"). Obviously, there needs to be a ninja in it. I want this to be a simple character, not a highly detailed photo realistic interpretation...like the look of old Pixar movies. Maybe he can do some kind of jump-kick and cut a pineapple in half...but please surprise me with good and funny ideas! There needs to be sound accompanying any action...but not a music soundtrack or anything fancy.

This is a FUN project...not for business or profit. The budget is low, so please don't shoot for the moon. Keep it simple, but high quality (we do 1080p now, but would like to put out 4K in the future). If our videos become popular, we will likely hire you again to create an improved version.

While not required, if you feel like throwing together a quick sample, I'll be MUCH more likely to hire you. Please at least provide a portfolio or links to your existing work.
