Animations and juicing up for a PC game demo

We have a game demo that needs juicing up with animations. It's a PC platformer game, we prepare it for Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight. Possibilities for long term job, once the Kickstarter has passed.

This is a fairly simple 2d game like Limbo, Super Meat Boy, etc. We do not need a modern ad-like 3d animations. What we need asap is several blitting animations for energy and lightning-like effects like this one http://powstudios.com/system/files/webupload/resources/bolt_pack/bolt_tesla.gif.
Later on we will need much more of these. Preferably from the same artist so this would be a long term cooperation if we succesfully agree on the first milestone.
