Boat hatches are manufactured in a number of sizes. For example 18x18, 21x21, 18x24, etc.
I am building a library of patterns as to fabricate the hatch covers as orders come in.
Currently I have been building a model of each hatch to produce a pattern from which the covers are fabricated. This is time consuming and costly.
I looking for a person that can draw the hatch cover in 3D to dimensions supplied and then unfold the drawing to give me 2D drawings of the individual pieces.
I have been told that this CANNOT BE DONE with autocad. I have already worked with someone for several hours only to discover that they could not do what I needed. I can not afford to pay someone to discover that their software is not capable of producing what I need so please make sure you understand what is needed, your capabilities, and your software capabilities before we start.
