Sales Development Representative

We are a technology company, representing and reselling solutions from leading global companies. We are seeking an individual to help build our sales leads through cold cold calling and email campaigns. We will provide the necessary scripts, but are happy to seek your inputs on strengthening these scripts. The goal is to get appointments for the sales representatives who are the subject matter experts. The job will require that you
• Make outbound (cold) calls and emails daily utilising scripts provided.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to schedule prospect calls, meetings and product demos.
• Enter leads in our CRM - Zoho.
Initially, you’ll be working with the sales and marketing directors to help sift through our database and work to identify prospects. We also have access to a tool called Zoominfo which will be integral in helping to build a prospect list.
We need someone who is confident in picking up the phone, unafraid in making cold calls, and has a proven ability in setting appointments.
A technology background is not essential. What is important is that you have
- strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- you have experience in cold calling and in using email to establish a communication path to prospects.
- you are able to take the call to a point of setting a meeting for the sales team.
- you have used tools such as CRMs, LinkedIn
Initially we envisage this to be up to a 3 month assignment. But this may vary depending on the success and results achieved.
