Our client is an Indie romance author seeking to copy edit and proofread her 85,000 word manuscript, and make it ready for publication.
The budget is quite Low, only USD 80.
You must enjoy reading romance novels. You must be a native English speaker with experience and love for reading and editing romance books.
We require grammar, spelling check, and checks for inconsistencies. No need for major plot edits or to write dialogues. No need to make suggestions on scenes. No rewrites. The story and plot are set, we just need it to be perfect in terms of grammar and spelling.
You will be asked to sign an Non-disclosure / confidentiality Agreement before you start the work. Your name will be written in the acknowledgement section as editor.
PLEASE! NO RIDICULOUS OFFERS.
We already set the budget. Do no engage or bid a low price and then end up asking for twice or thrice the budget price later. We will only be wasting each other's time with that.
You must enjoy reading YA and Romance and have read a fair share in this genre.
No special education is required but we require experience in editing fiction books, especially in the romance genre.
We would require a maximum two weeks completion. And you will be asked to work on a document with Track Changes.
If we like your job, there is an opportunity to edit more novels in the future.
