Wordpress is very slow, need to check the issue

I have a website base on wordpress, the website is a new website, I installed avada theme and some other plugins.
Sometimes the website can get very slow and can not access completely. I have to reboot the server. I'm using a small independent cloud server, it is not super powerful, but should not be the main reason to make the website slow. I checked the server status, the BPS and IOPS sometimes become very high.
The server is using Ubuntu 16.04 64.
I need a developer to help me check the issue and fix it.
