SugarCRM workflow & project management install

We have got SugarCRM community edition installed - but we need it to work with WorkFlow and advanced project management.

We are looking for someone skilled in Sugar CRM who could advise or assist us with setting up workflow/project management.

I know we can purchase the Professional version of Sugar - but do we need to?

Are there any suitable workflow solutions - we want to be able to have sets of tasks that automatically initiate based upon criteria. We want to be able to create sequences of tasks that are pre-configured and ready to go based upon criteria being fulfilled.

Can we use SugarCRM CE for this purpose?

And - what about using it for advanced project management?

We have it installed and working on our internal Linux server.

Are there plugins that would do the job - and can they be easily installed?

Or do we need the professional edition?
