Solve problems with server

Hi,
We use Magento 1.9.x.x and update our products and information (stock/price) by using the Magento extension from Danslo/ApiImport. The server updates the products in Magento very slowly. We do not know if the Magento extension is the cause, the server configuration or anything else.
If you have dealt with Danslo/ApiImport extension and server configurations before, then please let me know. I need this solved for good.
