Our business offers functionality that would work very well with a popular contact form solution like Contact Form 7. Usually these forms get sent as an email, which we then receive and process. Rather than doing all this by e-mail, we'd like to implement an integration via our API as the data quality is much higher. I'm looking for somebody with experience with WordPress plugins to implement this feature in a manner which the maintainers of the projects will happily accept as a contribution.
