Chaos Stock Trading Software - High Level Design

The project is for the high level design/project plan for the the Chaos Stock Trading System. Feel free to Google "rutgers stock forecasters" if you want to know what I mean by high level architecture design and project plan, although, I do not want a copy of any body else's projects.

The program functions would be as follows and I’ve noted where others might have done something similar. I expect that this project will be 80 hours to 160 hours and will be conducted in phases or modules possibly with duplicated modules.

1. Collect/store data from Yahoo!Finance (examples from web)

2. Register/logon role based access control (possible examples from web or roll your own)

3. Store portfolio and compute performance (possible examples from web for display or other trading platforms or Questrade platform; data storage and computation will be new development)

4. Compute roughness and display statistic (new development - program from formula)

5. Compute slope stability and display statistic (new development - program from formula)

6. Back test simulation (new development)

7. Forward test simulation (new development)

8. Broker message (new development ??" together with brokerage firm)
