Graphic Design
Some of our projects will be needing logos designed for new companies or revisions for previously established companies. When the company is new, this will often require a complete corporate branding solution which should include the design of the logo, and the layouts for letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and sometimes labels.
Additional graphic design work is also needed at times to be implemented with a new or already existing website. We often bid on projects for updating or maintaining sites that we did not originally design.
When quoting us a price, if you quote strictly by the project, you will need to give us a series of examples along with their costs so that we can better estimate what we will have to pay. If you are quoting us an hourly rate, you will need to give us an estimate that we can expect for logos and for corporate branding.
Web Design
Projects that we have been involved with in the past have included “business card” type websites which include a single front page and then a contact form. This is often used in one-time advertising for unique products or services, or for a small firm. Most of our sites have a 5-page minimum and then go up from there.
We need someone that would be capable of doing websites with static HTML, dynamic designs that pull data from stored database engines, sites constructed of Flash, or sites constructed of a mix of elements. The contracting person needs to stay up-to-date with new website trends that we would be able to offer our clients.
When quoting a price for web design, if at all possible, please quote pages in stages, along with an hourly rate for maintenance; “business card” pages would be so much, as well as 5, 10, and 20 page packages, etc. These packages will need to be all-inclusive so that there is no additional charge for the graphics involved with the design. This does NOT have to include the logo charge. But let that be at your discretion as long as you inform us when bidding.
Special Projects
Sometimes we will bid on projects for database design, custom software, software integration, or layout projects for advertising projects such as brochures, magazines, flyers, etc. If you would please include some of your capabilities and prices, it would be helpful.
