We currently maintain 3 separate databases of customers in Excel, which gets added too through 3 different means - two websites & 1 through direct sales. ? We need to have an Excel (or similar) system put into place to take the records from each of the 3 systems, delete duplicates (names and emails) to ensure that we have can have one master database for marketing purposes, which is on one of the websites. At the moment, this is done manually and takes a lot of time to undertake.
The information in each of them is generally consistent, although we only need first name, last name & email address at this time. ? One of the databases has the first name & last name in the one field [login to view URL] size of the records in each is not large.
We envisage either an Excel spreadsheet or an Access database which can take records from each of the 3 systems and de-duplicate the information into the one master database.
